Film613 serves Ottawa and the Outaouais region with curated coverage of film, television, and local culture. Founded in 2021 by the OCan Film Festival and relaunched in 2025 under Treepot Media, the blog features a mix of commissioned and volunteer-produced content.

I started film613 while I served as a board member of Ottawa Canadian Film Festival, and when my time with the festival wrapped up in 2024, I did not want film613 to fade away. There’s just too much great work happening and too many talented creatives who deserve the spotlight. I am excited to continue building and sharing that work through Treepot Media.
